Video game developer Bungie is announcing that it is currently planning to deploy the 1.2.0.3 update for Destiny today at 11 AM Pacific Time, which is the equivalent of 19 PM Greenwich Mean Time.

The official announcement made via Twitter does not say how long the deployment of the new update will take, but as usual, gamers will probably be kicked out of all activities they are involved with as the changes are being implemented in the social shooter.

Bungie is also continuing its tradition of not delivering a look at the actual patch notes before 1.2.0.3 arrives.

The studio has already said that the focus will be on tweaks for the Prison of Elders game mode, which was added in the House of Wolves launch, and that all the changes made are based on the feedback offered by players and on analysis of the way they have tackled the new experience.

It seems that the final boss of the mode, Skolas, was too unpredictable when it came to his attacks and created problems that players tended to solve by always fielding the same team to defeat him.

In update 1.2.0.3 for Destiny, the overall health of the enemy leader will be reduced, and there are also changes made to the minion waves that he sends against players.

Destiny is getting another major expansion this year

House of Wolves might have only been launched on May 19, but many members of the community are also thinking about the other big expansion that seems to be prepared for this year, The Taken King.

It's existence was first revealed via a leak and was then confirmed by a Red Bull promotion and other content linked to Destiny.

It seems that another environment for gamers to explore will be added to the social shooter and each of the three classes will get some variations in order to make sure that gamers remain interested in the evolution of their characters.

Bungie has not yet acknowledged the existence of The Taken King and Activision has not talked about its potential launch window.

More information about the future of Destiny might be offered during the coming E3 2015 press conferences.
