Microsoft has finally confirmed that it will unveil the company’s Surface Tablet on October 25 in New York, as part of a special event that will also witness the debut of the new Windows 8 operating system.
It was already rumored that Microsoft plans to release the Surface together with Windows 8, but the company remained tight-lipped on the date till now.
TheVerge reports that the Redmond-based software giant has started sending invites for Windows 8’s debut, mentioning that a “Surface Reception” will also take place.
Still no word on pricing though, so we have no other information than the previous rumors claiming that the Surface will be priced between $300 and $800.
Of course, more details are very likely to be released soon, so we’ll keep you updated on the subject.
