“The Chrome team is happy to announce the first update to Chrome for iPhone and iPad,” reads a new entry on the Google blog dedicated to Chrome releases.
According to Google’s Jason Kersey (program manager), this first update (21.0.1180.80) “brings in fixes to user-reported issues.”
The changelog on the Google Chrome Releases blog differs from the one up on the iTunes App Store – the latter being more complete.
The App Store Chrome page says the update patches a compatibility issue with certain websites including Yahoo! Mail. There are fixes set in place for errors creating a blank Most Visited page, fixes for issues when logging into some sites, stability and security improvements, as well as “many [other] bug fixes addressing user feedback.”
The update also brings a new feature: the ability to share webpages via email or Google+, Facebook, Twitter.
