After taking the beta channel version up one notch, it was obvious that a new Chrome Dev release would follow. Chrome Dev channel has been updated to 17.0.928.0 for all supported platforms and, among others, introduces an updated JavaScript engine.

A new feature available in the new Chrome is prompting the user to cancel downloads started in a previously closed Incognito Window of a profile. Additionally, panels are enabled by default for extensions and now there is the possibility to adjust the margins when previewing a print job. Another important progress is saving mouse lock “allow” permission in content settings per domain.

On Linux there is a fix that addresses an issue regarding the multi-profile selection bubble when using a Chrome theme.

Among the most notable problems the developer is already aware of the Native Client's inability (NaCl) to run on Windows.
