Samsung’s ChatON messaging service for Android devices has just been updated to offer a smoother experience. The latest version brings new features and improvements, as well as some bug fixes.

Firstly, the application’s GUI has been enhanced to offer better visuals. Secondly, Samsung also added the Macedonian language.

With ChatON 1.7.7 users will be able to directly reply on a pop-up message and make buddy recommendations. They can also invite friends from Facebook and Twitter to ChatON or send a message by the enter key on the keyboard.

Anicons have been included as well, along with the options to add a buddy with Samsung Account ID. Push-on/off control in a group chat room and Application lock are now available in the latest version of ChatON.

ChatON 1.7.7 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up.
