Microsoft has once again rolled out a new temporary section in the Windows Store to promote Mother’s Day apps, including shopping and books.

As you most likely know from our previous coverage on this kind of software categories, Microsoft uses them to advertise a collection of apps for specific occasions, such as Easter, Valentine’s Day, and now Mother’s Day.

“Let your mom know how much she means to you this Mother’s Day. Book a surprise visit, treat her to a special dinner, find the perfect gift, or use Skype to give her a call (if you can’t see her in person),” the description published in the store reads.

All these apps can be used on both Windows 8 and Windows RT, with developers offering them at absolutely no cost (with the sole exception of Bejeweled Live which costs $4.99 / €3.80).
