Video game publisher Activision and Sony announces that Call of Duty: Ghosts is a part of a new upgrade program that will allow those who buy the game on the PS 3 to pay a further 10 dollars or Euro in order to get access to the full game on the coming PlayStation 4.

Eric Hirshberg, the chief executive officer at Activision Publishing, states, “We have the best fans in the world, and we want to make this transition as seamless and easy for them as possible. And there’s more news to come on that front. Stay tuned.”

The same amount can be played to upgrade the new Call of Duty from the 360 to the Xbox One.

Players also have the options to take their profiles and their Season Passes associated with the shooter and move them to the next generation of devices.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launched on the PC and current-gen devices on November 5.
