After a lot of feedback and complaints from fans, Infinity Ward has confirmed that the Search & Destroy game type is now available in the public multiplayer playlists of Call of Duty: Ghosts, meaning all owners can enjoy the special experience.

Few online modes are as emblematic to Call of Duty games as Search & Destroy, as it really helped them differentiate themselves from others many years ago.

Unfortunately for veteran fans, with the latest entry in the series - Ghosts - developer Infinity Ward decided to skip the game type.

This, as you can imagine, didn't exactly thrill gamers, who began complaining to the studio.

Infinity Ward has now confirmed on Twitter that Search & Destroy is present in the public multiplayer playlists for everyone to play across the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, or PS4, and for the Xbox One starting next week, when the game launches for that platform.

What's more, the Hardcore Team Deathmatch respawn time has been lowered from 15 to 5 seconds.
