Developer Infinity Ward has confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be a launch day game for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next-gen consoles.
It might still appear on the Wii U, although that version will be kept under a shroud of secrecy for some time.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is the next installment in the shooter franchise, and developer Infinity Ward will make the experience a cross-generation one, as it appears both on current devices, like the PC, PS3, or Xbox 360, but also on new ones, like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
While the actual game appears for current platforms on November 5, Infinity Ward has revealed to GameSpot that it will be a launch day title for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, whenever they’re actually released into stores worldwide.
What's more, the studio also said that the Wii U might still appear but, for now, it's a mystery project due to PR reasons.
