After a leak earlier today, Activision and Sledgehammer Games have officially revealed Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the next iteration in the series, confirming a November 4 launch and presenting one gameplay video alongside two actual teasers about the main villain and enemies in the new title.

The Call of Duty franchise is now on a three-year development cycle between three major studios, Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer, and this year it's time for Sledgehammer to shine and show the project it's been working on for quite a few years.

While the initial reveal was set to take place on May 4, thanks to a recent leak, Activision has decided to release the first few details and videos from the new title ahead of schedule.

As you can see in the gameplay video below, the game is Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and takes place in the near future, where sci-fi technologies like exosuits, hoverbikes, spider tanks, and more are possible.

As you can also figure out from the two other teaser trailers, the main villain in the new game is a private military corporation led by a man played by actor Kevin Spacey.

A release date of November 4 has also been confirmed, but no word yet about the platforms on which the game will debut besides the Xbox One, on which the gameplay video was recorded.
