CDlinux or Compact Distro Linux is a compact distribution of GNU/Linux that now has reached version 0.9.7.1.

CDlinux can be used as a “mobile OS” or as an admin/rescue tool. The latest version, 0.9.7.1, is built from scratch and has proven to be stable enough.

Highlights of Cdlinux 0.9.7.1:

· Linux kernel 3.2.11; · Wine 1.4; · Networking manager was changed to NetworkManager; · The new media players are VLC and XBMC; · Chromium browser is now part of the CE edition; · Support for the Nvidia drivers is was added to CE edition; · Support for IPv6 and VPN.
