14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Bungie working on its upcoming Destiny says that all players can choose to avoid the multiplayer game mode entirely, but doing so will make them miss some of the unique elements of the title.
The developer is quoted by VG247 as saying that, “If you never want to have a cooperative or competitive experience in Destiny, and if you want to experience every cinematic in private, you’ll have the option.”
Bungie believes that the cooperative mechanics in Destiny are interesting enough that all those who buy the game will at least try to see what they offer.
Previously, the team has suggested that the single and the multiplayer elements of the coming game will be seamlessly integrated.
Destiny will be launched on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and current-gen consoles in 2014.
