Video game developer Blizzard and Sideshow Collectibles have announced that they are working on a new statue of Arthas Menethil that will be launched during winter of this year.

The official description from Blizzard for the statues reads: “Meticulously sculpted by fine artist Brian Fay (whose body of work includes the Headless Horseman and Arthas deluxe figures from DC Direct) this museum-quality maquette realizes the Lich King as never before at a massive 19 inches (482 mm) high, atop a glacier-blue base.”

The Arthas statue is painted by hand and then frosted, with a unique edition number carved into each of them.

Blizzard says that this is just the first of a bigger series of statues linked to World of Warcraft that will be launched this year.

The limited edition collectible statue of Arthas will be selling for a suggested retail price of 349.99 dollars (265.7 Euro) and pre-orders are now available.
