Diablo III has a new game director and it seems that one of its main short-term priorities is to enhance the itemization and loot system of the game in order to make it more enjoyable for all those playing the Blizzard action role-playing game.

Josh Mosqueira states in an official post on Battle.net that, “This includes reducing the amount of loot that drops while improving the overall quality, introducing targeted Legendaries, and giving players ways to directly customize their character's armor—both visually and mechanically.”

Blizzard is also aiming to make the Auction House less important for gamers who are looking for interesting gear to use.

Diablo III is still getting regular updates one year after it was launched and the game is expected to launch in the fall on PlayStation 4 and 3 home consoles from Sony.
