Today, Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has officially confirmed plans to make the new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone available for purchase in the Philippines starting with June 7, 2013.

The smartphone will be launched in the country in two color flavors, namely black and white, yet no specific info on its pricing has been made official as of now, n4bb reports.

“The BlackBerry Q10 smartphone offers premium performance, set in BlackBerry’s signature keyboard design, that lets customers take instant action and stay connected to their work and personal networks throughout the day,” Cameron Vernest, country director for the Philippines at BlackBerry, said.

Running under the new BlackBerry 10 OS, the BlackBerry Q10 comes to the market with a 3.1-inch touchscreen, a QWERTY keyboard, 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, front camera for video calling, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, and the like.
