BitTorrent, one of the few amazingly popular torrent applications, is about to make the jump on the Android platform.

Although the software has been available for download on Google Play store for quite some time now, it’s still in beta.

Even so, BitTorrent for Android has many things to offer, such as the ability to search for specific torrents, access to exclusive content from featured artists, share personal media and more.

With the latest version of the application, user will be able to choose to download torrents exclusively via Wi-Fi thanks to the newly added Wi-Fi-only option. Furthermore, developers fixed crashes under 2 scenarios, though there are no additional details on this one.

BitTorent Beta 1.13 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
