The beta version for uTorrent 3.3.1 has received an update to build 29301. No new features have been added but it brings to the table some modifications and repairs.

The new revision now provides an initial modification about automatic updates and when updating to version 3.3.1 of the program and older clients get uninstalled.

Among the issues addressed in this release is the incorrect selection of the directory if “wndaddpre” is disabled. On the same note, the installer should no longer hang when offline, and when performing the update, the second uninstall entry is now removed.

Another bug squashed by the development team prevented the client from starting after the performing an update.

The main goal with uTorrent 3.3.1 is to provide customers with a viable auto-update mechanism that works in the background.
