Bethesda has issued a teaser statement saying that it will announce "new stuff" and make "some noise" this year, including a project that's been in development at the studio for some time.

Bethesda, after releasing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim back in 2011, has been largely silent, opting to act only as a publisher for Dishonored last year and for The Elder Scrolls Online this year.

Now, Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines has talked with OXM and teased that the company would make "considerably more noise this year than we did last year, as a publisher."

While Hines didn't say just what new announcements would be made, he did tease that they’d make fans sit up and take notice.

Recent reports have claimed that Fallout 4 is Bethesda's next big project and might be announced later this year for next-generation consoles.

The new post-apocalyptic RPG is supposedly set in Boston and revolves around the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
