The development team at DICE working on Battlefield 4 says that it is implementing a new Mutiny mechanic in order to make sure that all teams of players are able to take down their Commander if they feel he is doing a poor job.

The team writes on the official site that, "A Mutiny can be instigated by the team’s squad leaders if they feel the Commander is doing a poor job."

DICE is implementing a cool-down period after a new Commander is selected in order to make sure that the Mutiny mechanic is not abused and make sure that all gamers have a chance to form an accurate opinion of each other's performance.

The team has already explained that the features of the new Commander mode will tax a player's attention and energy.

Battlefield 4 will be out on the PC and current-gen consoles on October 29 in North America and on November 1 in Europe.
