Rocksteady Studios has confirmed that the next piece of downloadable content for its Batman: Arkham City title will arrive right before Christmas, on December 20, and includes the Batcave challenge map.

Batman: Arkham City impressed legions of gamers last month with its sharp graphics, stunning open world and variety of quests focused on characters from the famous comic book series.

The title also received quite a lot of DLC, either in the form of pre-order bonuses, like the Joker’s Carnival or Penguin’s Iceberg Lounge, but also some new content available for all players, like the Nightwing DLC.

Now, a new add-on will be released on December 20, which includes the Batcave map for the challenge mode of Arkham City, as well as the Joker’s Carnival and Iceberg Lounge levels, which will be available for download to all owners of the game.

Expect more details as we get closer to the release date, so players should be content with the existing game and DLC until then.
