Being able to watch TV on mobile devices is important for those travelers who have to cover long distances every day but still want to be kept up to date with the recent events.

In response to customers demand, Audiovox has released a new receiver called the mobiletv, which is a device capable of streaming free broadcast TV on several devices.

And the company has just announced the mobiletv is now compatible with the Kindle Fire line of tablets. Following suit, Amazon released a new app to be installed on the Kindle Fire, Fire HDX, Fire HDX 8.9 and Fire HD 8.9 tablets that will help customers set up their mobile TV streaming activities.

The best feature of the TV tuner is the fact that users won’t necessitate an Internet connection or Wi-Fi in order to take advantage of the bundle, so they can watch free TV basically anywhere.

On top of that the mobiletv tuner also provides TV fans with program guides, pause/rewind options and an internal battery.

The Audiovox mobiletv device is available for purchase at the price of $129.99 / €93.
