Ubisoft made a special appearance at the Microsoft E3 2014 press conference, showing off the Assassin's Creed Unity next-gen action adventure experience and its all-new cooperative mode that allows players to create their up-to-four-man brotherhood.

Assassin's Creed games have delivered great single-player adventures over the years and some pretty intense competitive and cooperative multiplayer experiences.

With Assassin's Creed Unity, Ubisoft is finally bringing a four-player cooperative mode to the game's story, allowing players to create their own Assassin brotherhood and work together to complete missions in the main plot.

In the live gameplay demonstration organized at E3 2014, Ubisoft showcased four assassins working together to take down the Marquis du Buillion, who was hiding alongside his guards and rich friends while the common folk of Paris were rioting in the streets.

Players need to work together in order to ensure that they reach their target and, from what it seems, the co-op experience looks really good.

It's unclear just how much the cooperative mode is embedded into the story and the regular campaign, as Ubisoft didn't offer any other details.

You can expect the French publisher to reveal more at its own E3 2014 press conference later today.

Until then, check out the video below.
