It seems that Electronic Arts is working on a brand new installment in its Army of Two series, in the form of Army of Four, at least according to a Twitter post by actor Joe Flanigan.

Army of Two and its sequel, Army of Two: The 40th Day, delivered some interesting experiences that focused on cooperative gameplay between two players.

Now, it seems that another sequel is underway, as actor Joe Flanigan mentioned Army of Four, a game that will now deliver a four-player cooperative experience, on Twitter.

The celebrity confirmed that he signed on to lend his voice for the new “AO4” game from Electronic Arts.

It’s safe to say that this new game is Army of Four, thus confirming some rumors from last year, which mentioned it was going to be powered by Frostbite 2, the engine from another EA shooter, Battlefield 3.

No official details are known, but you can expect some more info later this week, during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
