14 DAY TRIAL // As part of a new update for users of the official Apple Store application on iOS devices, Apple is offering Away in My Airplane (Parragon Read-Along) by Margaret Wise Brown Henry Fisher for free.
The iBook is the second piece of exclusive free content via the Apple Store application since the iBooks Discovery initiative reported last month.
According to the book’s authors, “It's a perfect story to share with little ones and features enhanced read-aloud audio.”
And Apple agrees, as “the free book download is meant for employees to have context when discussing and pushing the iBooks app and iBookstore to customers,” according to a note sent to Apple retail employees, reports 9to5mac.
The offer expires on August 28, when the book will no longer be available as a free download. Without the Apple Store application, customers have no choice but to pay full price ($3.99 / €2.99).
The book is exclusive to the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, France, and Sweden, according to the same source.
