Users at Bell, Virgin, TELUS, WIND, Fido and Rogers have started to receive it

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest flavor of Google’s mobile operating system, has reportedly started to roll out to Galaxy Nexus users in Canada.

Owners of this device on the airwaves of various wireless carriers in the country are currently reporting successful updates to the new platform release, yet an official announcement on the matter has not yet been provided.

Users at Bell, Virgin, TELUS, WIND, Fido and Rogers are currently receiving the 4.1.1 Jelly Bean platform release, a recently article on MobileSyrup notes.

As soon as the update is ready for their devices, users will receive a notification on the matter. Those who would like to check in advance to see whether the new software has been released for them or not should go to Menu > Settings > About phone > System software updates > Check now.
