Major retailer Amazon has been selling EA's SimCity game for quite a while and probably with some success.

However, following the recent connectivity issues that affects almost all players, Amazon decided to pull the game from its store.

According to Amazon's listing, the PC Download – Standard Edition is “currently unavailable.” Furthermore, the retailer adds it doesn't know when or if the game is available for purchase again any time soon.

Amazon also published an important note to customers who are visiting its online store to purchase SimCity: “many customers are having issues connecting to the “SimCity” servers. EA is actively working to resolve these issues, but at this time we do not know when the issue will be fixed.”

On a side note, the boxed Limited Edition of SimCity is still available for purchase, though customers are met with the same “important note” warning them about the connectivity issues.
