Recycled materials can turn into amazing works of art into the hands of gifted environmental artists. This time, Susie MacMurray is under the spotlight, due to her visible eco-friendly passion for fashion.

She tries to make the public opinion look at common items like balloons, fish hooks, hair nets and dressmaker's needles from a completely different perspective, reports TreeHugger. The extremely talented artist decided to rely on old bits of hair, feathers and rubber gloves, in order to give new significant meanings to old items. Her mission was successfully completed after she designed the amazing wedding dress manufactured out of 1400 rubber gloves.

The exquisite dress entitled “A Mixture of Frailties” has enough potential to dress an eccentric celebrity for the most important day of her life. The gloves are inside out and transform the iconic dress into a powerful statement. Most of the women have a passion for high-class dresses and the artist makes no exception.

Another peculiar yet fascinating creation was manufactured out of 15,000 metallic blue balloons, looking like an awesome royal evening gown.

She also launched the highly appreciated Widow, made out of thousands of silver dressmaker's needles. Creepy, almost impossible to wear for more than a few seconds, but awesome looking.

Her creativity isn't limited to fashion, as MacMurray revealed an incredible vintage chandelier created out of dozens of old wine glasses.

MacMurray says that she has chosen recycled and vintage materials from a particular reason. She tries to highlight that memory is an important element in our lives, as fabrics can have a powerful meaning even after we decide their life has ended, revealing the strong connection between people and their personal belongings.

While most of her potential clients wouldn't wear her wedding gown made out of plastic gloves, or the evening dress manufactured out of thousands of needles, they might consider visiting them at the museum, as they are a beautiful sight for the eyes of eco-fashion addicts.
