An image that might depict a very special Collector’s Edition for Aliens: Colonial Marines has just surfaced on the web, showing off its impressive contents.

Aliens: Colonial Marines has been in development for quite some time, with studio Gearbox Software and publisher Sega working hard to do the prestigious movie franchise justice.

After keeping fans in the dark for a long time, the game is finally set to be released this year. Now, in order to make the wait that much harder and get fans even more excited, an image of what looks to be a special edition of Colonial Marines has made its way onto the web, via Gamekyo.

As you can see above, the special edition contains a resin statue of an Alien attacking a power loader machine, a special foldable display, a real life USCM dossier with entries for various things, as well as in-game content like the M240 Flamethrower, M577 A2 Smart Gun, M414 Pulse Rifle Upgrade, or even a USCM Academy Firing Range mode.

Sega has yet to comment on this leak, although Aliens fans should certainly start saving up for this impressive Collector’s Edition.
