Fashion mobile phones seem to be the latest hit, as many handset producers are striving to get a partnership with famous designers. Alcatel just followed the trend and brought out a colorful and fun Mandarina Duck mobile phone.

Leaving aside any information concerning this phone's performances, the design is a great one. Elegant, mature handsets come in colors of grey and black, with similar designs, which makes this burst of color and youth most welcomed. It's definitely not something that you see on a daily basis.

The Alcatel Mandarina Duck seems to be just the perfect mobile phone for those that want to bring out the child hidden deep inside. It comes in three colors of red, yellow and purple, all bright and fresh. Moreover, they will surely manage to stand out and scream a strong personality for its user.

This is not the first handset that Alcatel brings out after collaborating with fashion designers. They chose this strategy with the Elle Glamphone in the past and it turned out great for them. Now they bring the Mandarina Duck phone, which is truly inspired from a duck's bill and represents Mandarina Duck's core values of "travel, irony and color".

The device is mainly targeted towards the female audience and also comes with a phone charm and bag clip, so the owner can easily attach it to her bag or clothing items. Moreover, there are also several preloaded Madarina Duck images and animations, on the 1GB microSD card.

The phone also includes a WAP browser and a VGA-quality camera, as well as an MP3 player. This enables it to play H.263 and MPEG4 video. There is also A2DP Bluetooth support, which means that the user will be able to listen to its favorite music wirelessly.

The Alcatel Madarina Duck handset will be available exclusively from Carphone Warehouse stores starting this November.
