No details about the fixes operated during the beta yet

Acronis just updated their backup and restore suite, True Image Home, to version 2012. The bundle is out of beta and can be downloaded as a 30-day trial.

No doubt bugs have been squashed but currently there is no information on the changes pertaining to the transition to final stage. As Windows 8 support seems to be the buzz these days, we expected details in this respect, but the same release notes from August 23 are available at the moment, and the build number has not changed either.

The modifications in version 2012 of the package refer to file synchronization, introduction of NAS as a location in the file browser. Support for 2TB+ drives is also on the list, right next to the new functions added to the scheduler: “startup delay” and “retry on failure”.

However, the most important part is fixing up the known issues reported back then. And we have no idea about what has been mended.
