It appears that Chinese customers are being treated with a special version of the ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7 tablet which includes the addition of a dual-SIM card.

This particular product is code-named ASUS KooS and bears some altered specs compared to the original version, NotebookItalia says.

On top of the dual-SIM support, customers will also see the tablet pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.2 GHz processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The KooS features a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

In the photography department, everything remains unchanged, the same 5MP camera remains on the back and the 0.3MP one is available in front. On top of that, there’s Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and the 3G modem.

Chinese customers will be able to choose between the 4GB and 8GB version of the KooS. The price has been set $215 / €159 but there’s no word whether or not the device will be launched on other markets as well.
