When it comes to bringing home a sound system that looks really intriguing, the Lisire 020 from Gais is beyond any doubt one of the premium choices. We're talking about a 2.1 sound system, completely encased in carefully brushed aluminium and looking like nothing you've seen before: everything is cylindrical and has an almost noble aura.

Thanks to the special design of the satellites and subwoofer, the standing waves are reduced to a a minimum, helping you get a better listening experience from your sound system even at higher volumes; even more, the metal cabinetry has a better imperviousness to resonance, diminishing the unwanted effects on your audio experience.

The centerpiece of the Gais Lisire 020 is the massive-looking 12-inch wide subwoofer, with ported architecture; it is flanked by dual satellites with matching design and elegant looks. Every element of the Gais Lisire 020 sits on a special stand shaped like a cradle and easy to place in pretty much any place across your room, but with an obvious bookshelf or floor orientation.

The Gais Lisire 020 can be connected to almost any sound source, whether we're thinking about your TV, portable multimedia player or even desktop computer: the 3.5mm jack input will hook up to anything, including modern mobile phones. This system comes with its own amplification, rated at 6W for the bass unit and delivering some additional 2.5W per channel for the satellites. With an 85 dB signal-to-noise ratio, the Gais Lisire 020 can reproduce sound between a deep 47 Hz bass and shimmering 20 kHz highs.

Initially sold in Japan, the Gais Lisire 020 2.1 sound system will soon be shipped to other countries as well, with an expected price of under $200.
