2K announced earlier today that its NBA 2K20 Demo will be updated with new gameplay features meant to provide players with a much better view of what the game has to offer. The new demo is only available for players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will go live today at 2 pm BST/3 pm CEST.

As far as the changes go, 2K revealed the new NBA 2K20 Demo for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 adds a pick-up-and-play Quick Game mode, allowing players to experience 5 games of Toronto Raptors vs. Golden State Warriors.

Besides showing more of the game, the update is supposed to make the NBA 2K20 Demo more friendly towards newcomers to the series by offering a casual, pick-up-and-play experience than the previous demo, which is more suitable for fans of the NBA games.

With the new demo, whether you’re new to NBA 2K or a seasoned veteran, all you need to know to try the demo are a few basic controls. To move your player, use the left joystick, to jump for rebounds or blocks, press Y on Xbox or Triangle on PS4.

While you're on offense, simply shoot with X or Square, and pass with A or X. On defense, A or X changes your player. Of course, there are a lot more things you must learn before becoming an NBA 2K veteran, but these basic controls are part of the core scheme. The rest of the optional controls can be learned as you go, so make sure to check out the new demo for a brand new NBA experience.

However, if you're one of the players who has already downloaded the original demo a while ago, you can update to the latest version to check out the new content. Keep in mind that the NBA 2K20 Demo is available for free download from the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.
