The final countdown until the unveiling of the 2018 iPhone lineup has started, and a new report that’s now making the rounds claims to provide us with some last-minute info on the upcoming models.

Until now, it’s been rumored that Apple could call the new 5.8-inch version iPhone XS, while the bigger Plus-sized sibling could launch as iPhone XS Max.

The name of the third more-affordable configuration with a 6.1-inch iPhone has never made the rounds, remaining quite an enigma for everyone.

An alleged slide from a China Mobile presentation has leaked earlier today to provide more details on what Apple plans to call the new iPhones, but also on the pricing that the company could use in China.

Prices to start at $699

As reported by Macotakara, the iPhone X successor could indeed launch as iPhone XS, but its larger brother wouldn’t use the Max moniker. Instead, it looks like Apple wants to stick with the already famous Plus brand, releasing the device as iPhone XS Plus.

The third and more affordable iPhone going live this year may hit the shelves as iPhone XC, the same report indicates. This means Apple could use the same approach as for the iPhone 5, which was the only iPhone generation to get a C version.

As for the pricing, the said slide suggests iPhone XS could cost 7388 yuan, while the XS Plus would be more expensive at 8388 yuan. iPhone XC may be sold for 5888 yuan.

At the current rates and using the existing taxes, it means the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could cost just $699 and not $849 as some analysts suggested earlier today. iPhone XS may end up going on sale from $900, while the iPhone XS Plus would technical replace the original iPhone X and be available from $999.

Obviously, these are all details that should be taken with a pinch of salt, and all info would be disclosed on Wednesday during Apple’s press conference.
