1Password has announced a new pack of improvements that would soon go live for iPhone users, and this time, the company has focused not only on new features but also on further polishing that refines the experience with the essential capabilities.

For example, the 1Password is finally getting the option to search any list of times on both Android and iOS. The feature was already there, but once 1Password 8 launched for mobile devices, it went missing for no clear reason.

It goes without saying that a search option is essential these days, especially when users rely on a large collection of accounts and passwords.

Support for unlocking the app with a PIN is also coming. While 1Password now supports Face ID and Touch ID, the application is also getting PIN unlock support for those who just want a new security option for added convenience.

Face ID unlocking is also getting further refinements, and the dev team says Apple users will also be provided with VoiceOver improvements too.

“We’ve improved 1Password 8 so that VoiceOver no longer gets stuck in some text fields. The screen reader will also read out all characters as you go past them – even if you start editing the associated text. Finally, if you’re typing in a text field and make a mistake, you can go back and find the right spot using the arrow keys. All the text will be selected and read out, however you can also choose a specific part by holding shift and an arrow key,” the company says.

And last but not least, 1Password will let users to reorder fields and sections inside saved items, so all the information will be displayed in a way that makes more sense for each user.

The new features will go live later this year, with further availability information to be shared at a later time.
