Microsoft’s new-generation Surface tablet is now up for preorder and even though nobody can get their hands on a device before October 22, all models are selling like hot cakes.

At least, that’s what Redmond is claiming as the 128 GB version of the Surface Pro 2 got sold out during the weekend, as consumer interest in this particular SKU has been incredibly high since the public announcement.

The Surface Pro 2 with 128 GB of storage capacity, sells for (€735) and appears to be back in stock right now, so if you wish to reserve your tablet, go ahead and place a preorder on Microsoft’s official page.

Shipments will officially start on October 22, but the 128 GB model will arrive three days later, as Microsoft is still working to resolve availability problems.
