Robert CondoracheSoftpedia editor profile and review archive

Way back in the day, I thought I was slick for having a Windows Vista desktop. I wouldn't hesitate telling everyone about it — oh, your PC runs XP? That's cool, my Acer desktop runs Vista. It's nothing, really — and I'd say it with a faint sense of smugness. Of course, I rolled back to XP when I got more attuned to how computers work...but I digress.

While sometimes I wish I could go back in time to a simpler, less technologically-elaborate world, I do appreciate the convenience of these times. Whilst I may have an odd sort of love-hate relationship with tech, I do enjoy the ride. I also enjoy writing, which is why Softpedia is a great environment for me.

Coincidentally, writing happens to be one of my hobbies. I used to review films in my spare time — and still do, when I find I have something worth saying. It even keeps me up at night sometimes, as inspiration strikes at the most inopportune moments, per usual. Other than that, photography is something I enjoy doing. I rarely shoot wide open — and when I do, I wish I hadn't.
