MobileMe customers are reporting that the first wave of refunds is coming in. Apple is no longer allowing customers to create a new 60-day trial account or start a new subscription using a code contained in a MobileMe box, and is refunding those who recently purchased or renewed their service.

Effective June 6, 2011, MobileMe has been automatically extended through June 30, 2012, at no additional charge, Apple has officially announced.
