Micron Boosts DDR2 Perfomance With New 1066 Mb/s Modules
I personally dislike the DDR2 memory modules. The first mainstream solutions were quite sluggish and came close to their DDR ancestors. OK, they do support higher frequencies, but how about memory timings and overclocking potential? Not particularly mesmerizing, I'll tell you: certainly not worth the money. However, Micron is willing to change all this with their recent release of 1 Gigabit DDR2 DRAM chips that operate at 1 ... [read more >>]
