Blu-Ray Has a New Encryption System
Sooner or later. Because this is how things work in the encryption business. Take the DVD protection for example. It wasn't very complex so hackers managed to circumvent it really fast. In the computer industry, the HD-DVD/Blu-ray wars have brought some good and some bad things to the consumers. I'll start off with the bad things, the bad thing is that these products cost enormous amount of money, and people are buying them, when in the same price range you could have more desirable alternatives. Your Blu-ray Player Will Be Obsolete
One of the features that the entertainment industry had to abuse of was the adoption of the Blu-ray and HD-DVD formats. Their introduction meant that movies could be played-back at a higher quality than by using normal DVD disks, and that was possible due to the very high capacity of these new formats. First HD-DVD/DVD Twin Disk
Since the release of the HD-DVD, there have been many arguments, both for and against it, and competition from rivaling Blu-ray technology hasn't exactly made things any easier.
