Just as the new Aura window manager/desktop made its debut in the dev channel, Chrome 19 graduated to the beta channel on Chromebooks. Owners using a Samsung Series 5 or an Acer AC700 will be able to take the new desktop for a spin in the beta channel which is a tad more stable than the dev one.
