Create Your Own Sexylicious Ubuntu Desktop - REPLY TO THIS OPINION

Go to Start Menu -> Preferences -> Awn Manager, then go to the Bar Appearance tab and set the Bar Height option to 32 or whatever you like.

I have it on 32 and it looks very good... see the screenshots above.
