How Did the Islam Conquer the World? - REPLY TO THIS OPINION

I think any article related to any group should be better thought out and researched. And you should always always include the theories of the conservatives, liberals and extremists.

Abu Bakr was in fact his best friend and also his father in law since Aisha, Abu Bakr's daughter, was wed to Muhammad PBUH.

People need to wake up about the deal with multiple wives. This was provided when famine and wars usually took out the male population. It states you MUST be fair with all of them, and you shall not be which basically states, stick to your loved ONE. However, IMHO, muslims have forgotten the second part and marry to their pleasures. Fault in people's actions rather than the system.

Also the thing with the virgins, there is actually a greater reward if you truly love one person that you will be back with them then. I would rather be with my wife than 720000 other virgins... Or whatever creature that is, virgin is a translated meaning which may or may not be accurate...

To be honest, I am by no mean a scholar, but I believe Islam like any religion or faith or idea was corrupted by certain people for individual gain. I especially blame men for mistreating their wives, sisters, mothers, daughters. Islam is tolerant and it does not kill social networking for women. It preserves their innocence. Don't look as Saudi Arabia for an example, if anything, they're back to where P Mohammed found them 1400 L years ago. Just check out the heaviest gamblers, drunks, spenders, there. The whole concept of monarchy is anti-Islam... Sad sad sad. And not just SA, but all the arab countries.

And I don't anderstand what Accessed means in the context of "Woman can only be accessed"

Woman can be seen without a veil by the Father, son, husband, father in law, son in law and any woman. Also in any situation where a need is necessary (Like a doctor). And by Veil it does not necessarily mean the covering of the face.

To prove my point regarding the veil and contact. Women in the Haj, the sacred visit to Mecca, must show their face and you will notice that they walk side by side to men, not necessarily of any relation...

There are many things in Islam regarding women which are not shared so feverishly by muslims (Men) because it will drive the power away from their hands. Sadly, these women are the strongest thing in their lives and without them we'd be lost, but then again, this was never just an islamic problem. (women oppression through out the world and through out the times)

Oh, and IMHO I believe there are better non-muslims these days than muslims... Any ideology taken into extreme, no matter how great the scripture/thoughts/ideas are, is going to go down the drain. And man is corrupt, from the day Cane and Able were born (If you believe in Adam and Eve) to today's War for democracy...

When writing about history (His Story), always check more than one side...
