| Why do these drives say that they are compatible with XP and in there mauals it tells you that you can either load the drivers from the CD ROM it comes with or just boot from XP and install? Why do they say this if you have to go through the above steps anyway to get XP to work? Or do some drives install XP OK and some don't? I just bought a SATA drive and still have to install it since my PSU doesn't have a SATA power connector. Have to get an adapter for it. Anyway, it came with a CD that has drivers on it so am I OK or will I still have to go through the above steps? | |
