Although I'm a big Firefox supporter, I think this article is a bit misleading. W3Schools has always shown a higher-than-normal usage share for minority browsers, because most web developers (who are conscious of web technology by nature) have already been aware of Internet Explorer's design flaws. My website, which hosts a useful web developer resource, shows that Firefox usage is actually higher than Internet Explorer usage.
But the truth is that Internet Explorer usage is still somewhere around 86% and Firefox usage is still below 10%. Firefox continues to gain, but not at the dramatic rate that this article implies. | |
