14 DAY TRIAL // is flashing some photos claiming to show the next-generation iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 in a Gold finish, the same color Apple is using to differentiate the iPhone 5s from the rest of the bunch.
While it wouldn’t be impossible for Apple to offer this third color choice next to Silver and Space Gray (both also leaked earlier this month), I’m skeptical about this particular leak.
As some of you may have already noticed, there’s an extremely pronounced yellow tint in these photos. Not just overlapping the tablets, but the whole picture. All three photos (especially the third one down) seem to have been treated to an after affect that makes everything look golden.
I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble, but these tablets here could well be silver iPads shot through a filter of some sort.
