One of the features that Verizon’s customers who purchase the Windows Phone 8X by HTC from the wireless carrier will benefit from will be wireless charging, an option missing from the device at other carriers.

Apparently, the carrier’s flavor of the device will sport the same size as the original, even with the additional feature packed inside.

This version of the smartphone will be available exclusively in the United States, The Verge reports, adding that Verizon is set to provide additional info on the matter in the not too distant future.

Yesterday, the company went official with plans to make Windows Phone 8 devices available for its customers, including the 8X, but it did not provide details related to the wireless charging capabilities of the device.

Windows Phone 8X will hit shelves in California Blue, Graphite Black and Flame Red before Thanksgiving at $199.99 on contract.
