Based on the latest Linux kernel (version 2.6.20), Ubuntu 7.04 brings a lot of improvements over the previous version (Edgy Eft) like fast boot, improved installer and new versions of all the software inside Ubuntu, like KDE 3.5.6, GNOME 2.18.1, OpenOffice 2.2.0 and many more.
