14 DAY TRIAL // It's been more than a year since TELUS added the LG Shine Plus to its portfolio and the promised Gingerbread upgrade is finally available for download. TELUS customers who still own the LG Shine Plus can head over to the carrier's support page and download software version LG-C710h-V20a update manually.
Obviously, LG PC Suite is required to be able to upgrade TELUS LG Shine Plus. In addition, users are strongly recommended to back up their smartphone before updating.
The new update brings Wi-Fi hotspot capability, improved power management for better battery life and device performance, theme color changes, better visual effects and more.
Make sure you check the software version after the update process completes. If the upgrading processes is successful you should be at firmware version LG-P500h-V10s.
