Slax, a modern, portable, small and fast Linux operating system with a modular approach and outstanding design, is now at version 7.0.6.
Slax 7.0.6 has been dubbed Green Horn and it arrives fairly quickly after the previous version, bringing a few needed changes and a personalized Software Center.
Highlights of Slax 7.0.6:
• Linux Kernel has been updated to version 3.8.2; • KDE has been updated to version 4.10.1; • A missing notification has been fixed. The module is now activated or deactivated properly; • All packages have been upgraded to reflect changes in Slackware-current; • Mozilla Firefox has been updated to 19.0.2; • The date is now shown on taskbar under current time; • The device notifier in KDE is now hidden since it was showing on mad positions.
